The monograph examines the current state of improving tooling for advancedmachine tools intended for high-precision machining of hard-to-cut materials. Itanalyzes machining conditions for large-sized components in heavy engineering, methods for selectingoptimal cutting parameters, and the application of modern toolhardening technologies.Presents experimental methods for evaluating the durability ofcarbide cutting tools treated with a pulsed magnetic field and discusses its influence onphysical and mechanical characteristics that affect cutting performance. The results ofindustrial trials demonstrate improved efficiency and operational stability of carbidetools after magnetic field treatment.uk_UK
