| dc.description.abstract | The monograph examines the current state of improving tooling for advancedmachine tools intended for high-precision machining of hard-to-cut materials. Itanalyzes machining conditions for large-sized components in heavy engineering,methods for selectingoptimal cutting parameters, and the application of modern toolhardening technologies.Presents experimental methods for evaluating the durability ofcarbide cutting tools treated with a pulsed magnetic field and discusses its influence onphysical and mechanical characteristics that affect cutting performance.
